Oracle 11.2.0 Client installation on Windows Server

Oracle 11.2.0 Client installation on Windows server

Down the Oracle client software from the Oracle OTN software e-delivery.

Once the software is ready, unzip and start installation as a administrator.

Click YES (Theseerrorsare ignorable)

ð Instant client – For light version installation (does not include tnsping, sqlplus and other utilities) (Not recommended)

ð Administrator – For Full version installation(including tnsping, sqlplus and other utilities) (recommended)

TOAD Installation on Windows Server

TOAD Installation on Windows Server

You can download the latest toad software from below URL

https://www.quest.com/products/toad-for-oracle/software-downloads.aspx

Once the TOAD software downloaded, start installation by administrator.

Once the installation wizards popups please follow the instruction as per the below screenshots.

Installed Oracle Client 11.2.0 and proceeded further in order to avoid the above error

JDK Installation and JAVA version verification in Windows server

Download the JDK software from Oracle OTN softwate repository.

Run as administrator

Click Next

Verify the Java Version in CMD prompt:

Set the JAVA_HOME variable in Windows system variables.

Informatica 10.2.0 Client installation for Windows Server

Download the Informatica 10.2.0 client from the Informatica service portal or oracle OTN software download repository.

Once software is downloaded into your windows server unzip and start installation.

Note: Please make sure client windows servers where you are going to install Informatica client has the all the port opened and able to connect to Informatica server via all those ports.

Please refer the Informatica Installation guide for list of port needs to be opened from Windows Client to Informatica server

Run ad administrator:

Install: Install fresh new informatica 10.2.0 client

Upgrade: Upgrade the informatica client from 10.1.0 to 10.2.0

Select both informatica developer and PowerCenter Client

Apache Tomcat Installation in Windows Server

>>> First You may go to http://tomcat.apache.org website.

>>> Click on Tomcat 8.0 link in Download section on the left the website.

>>> Choose zip in Cores section. When your file is downloading, copy it into any path. I copy it into D disc.

>>> Unzip it and change name for tomcat8. It will be shorter name.

If you want to work in tomcat server you must install java jdk environment. After installation java set JAVA_HOME and JRE_HOME path.

In Variable Name field write JAVA_HOME and in Variable Value write your. JDK installed directory.

1) Create Tomcat directory under C:\ and unzip apache-tomcat-8.5.47-windows-x64.ZIP

Start and Stop Apache_Tomcat:

>>> Open the command prompt:

Go to Apache tomcat bin directory in cmd prompt C:\Tomcat\apache-tomcat-8.5.47-windows-x64\apache-tomcat-8.5.47\bin

Start Apache tomcat by running startup.bat from command prompt and Apache server will launch on new windows and keep this window alive & don’t close it. If you close it and Apache server will goes down.
