Oracle Database 19c Administration Certification - Most important certificate for DBAs

OCA and OCP Certificates:

Oracle Database 19c is the latest release and its going to be longer support from Oracle and this is most popular database.

Oracle Database 19c is the final and long term support release of the Oracle Database.

Oracle Database 12c support is going to end by 2022.

Oracle Database is Long term support with 4 years of premium support (March 2023) and a minimum of 3 years extended support(March 2026).

Oracle Database 19c does not have Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) and it has only Oracle Database Administration 2019 Certified Professional (OCP)

Oracle Database Administration 2019 Certified Professional is the new certification credential for Oracle Database 19c Administrators.

Oracle Database 19c OCP, DBA needs to pass these two exams.

• 2-Prepare for Oracle Database Administration II | 1Z0-083

For Upgrade from previous database version (OCP or OCA) dba should pass only second exam.

• Prepare for Oracle Database Administration II | 1Z0-083
